Designed in 1994 by the South-African champion Hugh Baiocchi, The Legend is the oldest golf course at Constance Belle Mare Plage. Integrated in a hunting reserve, one could find oneself face to face with a deer at any moment. Numerous traps await golfers along the 18 holes with many water features as well as unforgiving roughs and ‘out of limits’. The course showcases some magnificent holes, such as the 17th: a splendid Par 3 requiring a perfect iron over the lagoon. Ideally, this course would be played at the end of the day so that one may appreciate the beautiful light of sunset. The Legend Golf Course is a relatively short course, but quite technical, narrow and requiring precision and concentration during play. A course ideal for good players, those with little experience should bring their spare golf balls.
